To portray a complex man like Idi Amin requires a special talent. I’ve always enjoyed Forest Whitaker’s performance, and wondered why he wasn’t cast more in leading roles. Well with this movie he is perfectly cast, and his acting talent calls forth a bone chilling presence of a man who killed about R300 000.00 of his fellow countrymen.
