Chasing your dream no matter what. Yeah, we’ve seen it before; and this movie brings nothing new to the theme. In fact, this whole movie is a bit blasé. Standard stuff. Just another run-off-the-mill production spit out by the Hollywood machine. A quick buck.
If you’re very gullible, you might be surprised by two things in the movie, which off course I won’t reveil now, but I will give a clue. The first is a twist in the storyline and the second is an unexpected actor playing in the movie.
I guess if you’re looking for a family movie that is not completely child orientated and won’t demand your undivided attention, The Astronout Farmer is a perfect choice. Rather watch it on DVD than in the Cinema.
It scores a flat 6/10.
